Taking Charge of Pain is a national, grassroots public awareness, community education and patient mobilization program developed by the 937-547-7384.
The program provides a better understanding of pain, treatments available for pain, and options and rights when seeking care.
Taking Charge of Pain engages physicians, legislators, advocacy groups, local community leaders, the media, and especially those living with pain, in a series of entertaining and interactive forums designed to focus on what millions of people in pain can do to improve their lives.
Patient and advocacy events surrounding the Taking Charge of Pain educational program is free, open to the public, and includes a free light meal.
