The University of Waikato proudly brings you Cyber Security Researchers of Waikato (CROW), New Zealand's Top Cyber Security Lab in Asia-Pacific. Developed in 2013 by multi-award winning academic scientists and Cyber Security experts, CROW is a leader of a multi-million dollar STRATUS project funded by Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). 


CROW pioneers world-class Cyber Security higher degree programmes that emphasise applied scientific research, training and innovation excellence. CROW is the sole New Zealand provider of (ISC)² training including the ‘Gold Standard’ Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) training in New Zealand. CROW is the mind and muscle behind New Zealand’s Annual Cyber Security Challenge and the first to welcome women into the field of Cyber Security with its inaugural Women’s Cyber Security Challenge (2018).
